It would be a hockey trade at this point. Another high end draft that hasn't panned out. With how low Puljus value is something like Jesse plus a Mid round pickish i would assume.

Dach was traded for 13th overall pick and a 2nd round pick. Lafreniere has to have more value than him.

Yeah, I guess that's probably a good comparable. I personally just don't see it. I've asked some of my Rangers friends why he was benched and they all said the same thing, and it's because he just floats around out there. I don't know what the take on Dach was.

I fear that Rangers are mis-developing him. Rangers should not have had that 1st overall pick when they had a locked up top 6.

I couldn't speak to how they developed him, but from my understanding is he had more than his opportunity to play in the top-six before being relegated to the middle six. It's also not like he's played with bad players. He's played with some of the best player's in the game, but who knows, maybe that's not what he needs. Maybe he needs to be in role where he's the main guy in order to shine.
