RW help for relatively cheap? Bet there'd be interest here. Go nuts and trade huge assets for bigger fish if you want.

I think I'd do it, not sure the Jets can take on that much cap without moving some out though.

I like Garland, but I wouldn't want the Jets giving up an NHL ready defenseman for him, especially considering Garland's play this season.

The Jets shouldn't be subtracting from their lineup they should be adding, so if a deal can't be made for futures, I think the Jets should pass.

As much as getting a guy like Miller who moves the needle AND getting rid of Kappy's albatross of a contract are very appealling, giving up our 2023 first and taking on Miller's contract extention are not. I think Hextall would consider something like this, but ultimately I don't think he would accept.

Heinola only sees the ice as the 8th/9th defenseman and is looking for an out, that was the aim here. Garly is legit, just not getting the ice time in Van.

Nah, Heinola was only on the Moose because he was waiver exempt. They said as much at the beginning of the season and he's not looking for an out.

As I've said before, I like Garland, but the Jets should not subtract from their current lineup for him and though he has been good in the past, he isn't good this year. I don't want the Jets paying a premium only to find out this is the new Garland.
