"Choice between ****emo or Byfield or Akil Thomas."

One of these is not like the others. That's like saying the Kings would like one of Valimaki, Stecher, or Chychrun.

Regardless, that's way too much for Chychrun. LA says no.

Not arguing the value of the Dallas trade, but I can't see the Stars giving up Logan Stankoven for a player that would be a luxury for them.

The Stars don't NEED more left-shot defensemen. Would Chychrun be an upgrade? Of course, but in the ultra-rare scenario where Dallas does move Logan Stankoven, it's for a player of absolute need for the team, IMO. The Stars would counter with someone like Harley, Bourque, or even Bichsel in place of Stankoven.

Tampa probably passes. Value is fine, but i dont think they will want to give up so much on 1 player that doesnt fill an immediate need

My final offer for Chychrun would be: Bourque + Harley + Gurianov + 2nd round pick in 2024.

Since that offer would be refused, I would still sleep very well at night.

I'm just saying that Byfield is ideal, but ****emo would be the only one in the deal (willing to be dealt by LAK).
