Description
I really think Kampf should be centering with ZAR and Hunt. I get that he's the higher "tier" Center, so that's why he's on the 3rd line, but just commit to the 4th line being the full shutdown line. It makes more sense than having Kampf with Kerfoot and Engvall. It also gives Holmberg a little more speed and ability with him.

Engvall and Kampf go hand in hand and won't be separated. The two of them have great numbers together but are utterly useless (mainly Engvall) when not paired together. I can't see them being split up.

I just feel like ZAR andHunt are the players Toronto got for the specific thing Kampf excels at so it makes no sense not to have all 3 on a line. I get the Kampf and Engvall connection though, but I think Engvall would get that with Holmberg also.

I could also see going:
Kerfoot - Holmberg - ZAR
Hunt - Kampf - Engvall

I just don't think ZAR with Holmberg makes much sense since you would want that line providing bottom 6 offense.

Line 3 = Bottom 6 Offense.
Line 4 = Bottom 6 Defense.

Yeah I can see them moving the bottom 6 lines around a bit, but ZAR is and always has been a purely defensive player with poor offensive production so I can't help feeling that he wouldn't be the best fit with Kerf and Holmberg if that's supposed to be a scoring support line. While Hunt hasn't produced in the NHL he did have great numbers in junior, so he does have some finishing touch capabilities. Could make a bit more sense with Kerf than ZAR. I think Kerfoot gets moved before the year is done, though, since he's an UFA and we can use the cap space.

That's why I don't like ZAR with Holmberg. Holmberg can create offensive chances but when he's on a line with ZAR and Hunt, they don't really finish anything.

I pairing like:
Kerfoot - Holmberg - Hunt
ZAR - Kampf - Engvall

Could also work. I just think after some time together, Hunt would be great with Kampf.
