Oh no, now you're saddling LA with Anderson and his never ending cap.

Islanders Decline. Mike Hoffman doesn't help the Islanders at all. They have enough old bottom-six wingers. The 5th and Kovacevic are worthless. Islanders already have Pulock, Dobson, and Mayfield on RD.

Beau hasn't been great but Hoffman is older, worse and more expensive. Nah

Both SoCal teams wonder what you've been ingesting.

Luneau is a RD prospect as highly touted as Barron, but two years behind. There's no real point to that exchange, especially since Anaheim is further away from contending than Montreal. The rest of that package isn't close to equivalent value for a youngster we drafted third overall and so far looks like he's exactly what we were hoping for.

Los Angeles might be interested in trading Sean Walker with a middling draft pick for Edmundson, probably with retention. The hugely overpriced and moderately underperforming Josh Anderson is of absolutely no interest to a team which has 16 forwards it's trying to find playing time for, and the idea that the Kings would include Brandt Clarke in a trade for veterans is as silly as the idea that you would include Kaiden Guhle in a trade for veterans.
