Anyone with cap space. Arizona, San Jose, etc. Throw in an extra pick if need be, the specifics of the trade aren't too important.

Makes more sense for WSH to get Kane than NYR, because Kane will help Ovi break all-time goal scoring list.

If Kaner says he wants to go to WAS...this would work for me.

If WSH is the only place Kane will go, then sure... I guess, but it would be pretty underwhelming. Eller is a UFA and has no value to CHI and McMichael was overhyped and is looking more and more like a bust. The only real value coming to CHI is the picks, but I'm assuming that 3rd is meant to cover the extra retention, and I think CHI should be able to do better if Kane wants a trade.

That being said, I don't really care. I don't want to talk about Kane and Toews potential trade values anymore. I just want to get something for them, finish this tank, hope we land the 1st overall pick in the 2023 draft, and add a few promising prospects to the pipeline. Moving them now helps the tank and would essentially bring in a free assets, because we definitely don't need them for the rest of this awful season.

Great idea, that much retention may not be necessary as backy could hold off until the loffs
