Statistically, Lankinen is having a pretty good season, he'd probably want 2 mil at least.

Frederic costs more.

They just go with Bussi or Keyser as backup in this scenario.

Kane is a bad signing.

Swayman does not get Durzi straight up.

Lol. Nope.

And goalies trade value are historically lower than people realize.

The pair of 2nds is roughly Sways value.

Until you NEED one... LA has a short window with 2 aging bad contracts, then '25 with who knows....

All well and true. However does not change the fact Durzi is 24 year old right shot 40 point D man playing 20 mins a night. Has far more value than a struggling goalie.

LOL Durzi is a turnover monster with negative CF and plays a ton of PP... but he is grimy

Swayman has had some bad games but a short career of really good games, defs a starter for 25 other teams esp at his cap hit

Being the offseason one never knows.

I don’t see a move where Boston trades Carlo and gets better. But if they are concerned about his concussion history and find a right move that benefits them and their cap situation who knows. He’s not really a piece Zona looking for in a Chychrun move though.

As for Swayman I would have whole heartedly agreed with you up until recently. While i think it would be a big mistake to move him, but considering how things have played out this year, how tight against the cap they are going to be next year, how well Bussi and Keyser (before getting hurt again) in the A…they might consider it for the right move. Could save a couple million in cap space which will be huge, and they don’t have many other contracts to move to help that out. If they can add some significant draft capital or high end prospect. But i don’t think they can get a return that would be worth trading him, at least currently.

I don’t see them moving either. But to say it’s 100% no….ehh.

I felt the same way until recently… I mean what Ullmark is doing this year is nothing short of 2011 Thomas. For all of the Bruins player development woes, they’ve done well in net, and I think they might be better off with an alternative solution that keeps the goalie tandem under 6.5M + the assets they could get for Swayman.

I also really like Carlo… just dont think his value will get any higher than this off-season if he makes it through the season healthy playing top 4 minutes on a cup contender. Seems like an opportunity to capitalize. I do agree that he’s not exactly what AZ is looking for though. Maybe Lohrei instead? I’d consider it, just have to make the money work. Also less palatable to those in the thread that aren’t familiar with his potential… lol

Durzi and ONE third or fourth for Swayman is a reasonable exchange.
