Great value for what he brings. Great team guy too. I have loved having him on the Stars. I was skeptical of what he could bring after his first year which was a disappointment but ever since the run to the final in 2020 he's been unstoppable.

Pavelski still has plenty left in the tank! Anything longer than one year would've been a massive blunder; this is the perfect way to keep a player like him around.

Normally, I would say this was an AWESOME signing however, Mr Krejci and Mr Bergeron, both signed contracts with similar results. lol. Normally, its an awesome signing, but could we do better?

I'm kinda shocked Pavelski signed this contract today. Like clearly it must have been negotiated a while ago and waited for the Jan 1 rule for 1 year extensions. But the way he's playing, I'd think he'd want more. And if he wins the cup this year (Dallas is a legit team), does that change anything?

Either way clearly a great deal for Dallas.

He'd have to regress hard to be worth less than 3.5 and the risk of that is more than worth the upside with his chemistry with Dallas's top forwards.

Give age I thought that 33 year old season was the beginning of the decline, the 34 was a bit lucky and 35 was proof that 33 was beginning of decline

Than he has his best points years at 37 and 38? Bizarre career. Good on the guy

I also thought he may have been a bit of a Thornton creation when he stepped back a bit in his late 20s... Guy just keeps going
