I think the sens make out the best in this deal, really I’m only concerned about how EDM thinks.

The Sens biggest need for this season is RD and bottom 6 and they get that here. Next year they need cap flexibility , Puljujarvi is on an expiring deal so no need to keep him. Murphy has more years but If he’s really good in the top 4, then we need him and should find a way to make it work

Would it be possible for you to take Motte out and just send Katchouk to EDM instead? I think the Sens would prefer that.

Hawks are giving up too many solid players and taking on too many cap dumps to not get a single first round pick or decent prospect back.

Only cap dump I see is Zaitsev.
