Sabres have 3 goalies to juggle currently, I don't see them adding a 4th

Maybe he’s having a down year but that Anderson contract is a huge Yikes. Obviously Chicago’s not touching that without out at least a first round pick.

I mean... you have some reasonable-adjacent stuff here, but why in the world would Buffalo do that?

Hawks decline. Anderson in no way fits what the Hawks are looking for. Canadians need to find a different team for this trade

Welcome to CapFriendly and Happy New Year!

We wouldn't trade Jonathan Quick for Jake Allen and we wouldn't trade a second for Mike Hoffman. Brendan Lemieux and a fourth for Mike Hoffman is barely conceivable, though. However, I doubt it.

Teams trade firsts if they’re desperate. Leafs traded a 1st for Nick Foligno a couple years back. The Canadiens got a 1st for Chiarot.

Again. They bruins aren’t trading a first to upgrade the 4th line. Just because one team does something stupid doesn’t mean other team will.

Do the Bruins look like a desperate team to you?

Any ACGM'er who isn't Montreal slanted in their views OR has a pulse says no to this deal along with Don Sweeney for that matter.

simply edmundson and Monahan have more value to our young team so if there is no firstrounder we just hang unto them.... we dont need need second and third rounders... our pro[pesct depth is suberb as it is .... now 7 players at the WJC.... Honestly we are better off re-signing monahan and just giving away the deadwood as depth pieces to contenders... team will take Drouin and Hoffman and Dadonov at the deadline if the price is right... and we don't need them anymore.
