Devils wouldn't deal Mercer for Konecny one for one, let alone add to the trade.
Easy decline.
I could see them moving Holtz as the main piece for Konecny however.

Are teams being forced to draft JT Miller with his new contract with those 1st this year? Is that why they are so desperate to dump them they still overpay beyond them?

Foote, Mercer, Mukhamadullin, 1st would return any available player (and then some). Would have to be another sizable piece going to NJD.

Way too much for ADA, Hayes, and Provo. Wayyyyyy too much for Konecny. Braun isn’t an upgrade on any of Dallas’ current dmen, but I could see somebody giving a later pick for him for depth
