That Ottawa trade would literally be one step forward, five steps back for Ottawa.

If the Hawks players were worth this they wouldn’t be a historically bad team.

Oilers are giving up too much in my opinion. McCabe, Murphy, and Lafferty are good, but that is 2 good prospects, a first, a PP quarterback, two bottom 6 forwards for them. Take out Holloway, and it is closer to fair in my opinion. We don’t have the cap to accept this trade though, so I don’t see how McCabe, and Murphy to Edmonton would work.

Engvall > Khaira
Holl > Tinordi

They might do two 3rds for Domi though

if they want to play a bottom 6er on the 2nd line with Domi's scoring ability they'd just put engvall there

This is pure fantasy. None of these trades are realistic. All five teams that aren't the Hawks decline.

There is 0 chance Newhook is being moved. And it’s hard pressed that you will get a 1st for toews never mind a 1st+

Outscored him last year in low 3rd line defensive mins and is scoring at the exact same rate domi is this season while domi rides shotgun with kane, getting 1st power play mins with kane and engvall is getting buried in defensive minutes playing with guys like kampf
So yeah, that's what im saying

He has literally been, at worst, as good as domi for three seasons straight now while playing significantly less with worse players in defensive minutes vs domis offensive minutes, but sure thing domi is some how better
