Maybe not premium but a guy with 2nd line upside shouldn’t be an add to a 1st rd pick (in the 10-16 range in an extremely deep draft) for a middle 6 center on a shooting bender. It also screws Nelson who right now is killing it at center and is our best offensive player this season. All to accommodate a guy where 95% of his shooting bender value is going to the Canucks.

Horvat doesn’t need someone to carry him. He has been playing with Miller and Boeser all season and they both have been incredibly useless this year

Correct, however he is not really playing that well. Sure he is producing which I like to see, but lets not pretend that he has been super effective
