Honestly, if its a matter of getting Myers for FCs or being able to outbid Vancouver for Kuzemenko, ANA would rather win the Kuzemenko bidding war.

Kuzmenko probably wouldn't go to the Ducks. He chose the Canucks on the word of Mikheyev and to play with Pettersson.

That may be, but money talks, and if the options are to stick around Vancouver and deal with JT Miller, who there's no way in hell can be moved, while loosing Horvat vs going down to sunny, southern California to play with two of the most exciting young centers in the league, he could easily walk. And that's assume the Canucks don't just trade him because they believe he won't be able to be resigned for cheap enough.

Canucks will have to add a pick to trade Myers even if they retain salary. 6 million is pretty high in terms of a cap dump

Also, he won't get the team a pick or prospect.
