Chicago will most likley not retain McCabe if McCabe gets traded because They would want to retain Toews and Domi and he also has 3 years left and Chicago will probably be good in 3 years so they would want as much salary as possible. Also McCabe has a NTC but he would probably waive to get out of Chicago

Yes that’s what Arizona wants for its starting goalie who’s posting a great goals saved above expected number, two cap dumps.

Hawks decline. None of those 3 players hold any real value to the Hawks. And retaining on McCabe (if the Hawks even use a retention slot on him) for 3 seasons costs more as well.
