Good cheap deal for a guy who has been a decent versatile player for the rangers (even if he's struggled to make any impact anywhere else). Should help a bit with the crunch the rangers might be facing this summer depending on what happens with the cap.

Who voted no on this. League minimum next year is 775k, he's making 25k over that. He's a great 4th line player that can chip in offensively. As long as GG plays him in that role they are good

Probably because it was a good joke. The hype around him was crazy, people were thinking he was gonna be a star. Buffalo traded a 3rd for his rights with like a week before they expired (unheard of) and didn't even end up signing him. All that for a bottom 6 winger lmao
