I think McCabe could get a 1st in return. He does play in the top 4 well

He's had a strong season on a really bad team. If the Hawks decide to trade him, it probably takes a 1st or maybe 2 2nds. I think the offer above is probably light.

I think McCabe is signed for lower than current market value and has a few years left on his contract. I think this raises his cost a little higher than this. Especially because the Pen could go deep in the playoffs and that pick could be a #60+ overall.

I really like McCabe but I think (2) 2nds would be max. Don't think they can get 1st for him. However, Chiarot got one last year so who knows.

Remember when Hawks paid (2) 2nds for Timonen and he hadn't played a game that entire year until then.
