To be fair to literally every other Canadian player...he wasn't on Bedards line. Is Adam Fantilli a bust because he only has 5 points? I'd also be a little cautious about elevating prospects that were on his line.

Your 2 top prospects, & 2x 1st round picks is too much to give up. Especially for a player that hasn't established himself as a pro.

Wright could end up being a great player, he could just be an average NHLer. There's not enough evidence either way.
Having a high pre-draft status, or being drafted high, doesn't have long term value. Or you could still reason signing Yakupov.

Good point! The crazy thing is, I think Fantilli has looked excellent! But, it's hard to get any attention when Bedard is being superman pout there
