I think USA goes into the next tournament as heavy favourites...not sure what the rest of the dcore looks like or if there are some other forwards but man this is quite the group

Team USA will be rock solid next year with 11 returnees. Canada will bring back Fantilli, Korchinski and Owen Beck. That’s it!!

Canada will be a very young team next year (based on this year's draft)

Not if they’re smart. Philly and AZ won’t be worth playing for this season. They’d be far better off to play in the NCAA next season too.

I’d say there’s a 95% chance Cooley plays for coyotes. I think Snuggerud plays for the Blues after this trade deadline but maybe AHL next year. Gauthier probably will be back. Hard to imagine Cooley and Snuggerud will want to go back (especially after a potential championship) with minnesotas whole defense and knies going pro.

Maybe they’ll get loaned to Team USA.

I hope so too for my patriotic sake. Seems unlikely though considering Cooley and Snuggerud are top of the NCAA and this tournament in points. Not much to learn. If they do come back, it would quite possibly be the best American WJC of all time.
