It's really the same. Watching the young guys grow. With all of the injuries, Ylonen is likely to play 1st line 5v5 and 1st line PP. RHP is going to get more looks as well.

I’d also like to point out Caufield had 26 goals in 46 games, he was on pace to be the first Habs player in decades to hit 40 goals

Edit: The last time the Habs had a 40 goal scorer was Vinny Damphousse in 93-94

Now some ppl on capfriendly will tell you he’s not a 40 goal scorer because he never hit it . Even if he was on pace lmao. So they’ll say he’s not worth the trade value of a 40 goal scorer

I don't see a point in Dubois since Hughes acquired Dach to be a center and still sees him as a center long term, Suzuki-Dach should be a fine 1-2 punch

Like why allow the player to play and make the injury worse. Its not good for him or the team

I'd say it was more of a nagging injury they were hoping would heal on it's own. Not serious enough for surgery until last night where either it got worse or something else. He was doing hard contact in practice literally yesterday so I'd have to assume it got worse.

Guys guys I know who we should replace Caufield with

He has over 3500 games of NHL experience, and has played in 18 leagues for 111 teams. I am astounded he his not in the HHoF.

Give it up for....BENCH!
