Yep its middle of the pack at this point with most of the trades that were done and theres nothing wrong with that

Especially when u got Knies

Not to mention:
4 of their top 5 point scorers are 23 years old or younger in the AHL.
5 of their 6 most played (GP) d-men are 23 or younger in the AHL.

Seems like a middle of the pack prospect pool to me.

But rank them at 26 if you want, doesn’t change anything for me


Yep and if he was not hurt Nicholas Moldenhauer would still be leading the USHL in points (Has a chance but issue is the guys leading are his teammates lul)

Bob McKenzie's Draft Rankings

Cristall at 18 feels very low for me, He has so much talent and despite the common notion that he's too small, there are players ranked ahead of him that are smaller.

ASP, Gulayayev should go top 15 imo because a team will reach on D.

His current ranking set up for a lot of steals in the 2nd Round. Brindley, Perron, Stabak, Dower Nilson, Simashev Whitelaw would be sweet 2nd Round Picks

Knies is also playing on the same line as Cooley (18) and Snuggerud (18) and is the 3rd best player on his line despite being 20. You said those stats despite not mentioning that. Clearly his stats are being bumped by having 2 elite prospects on his line.

I mean he's never lead a line. Last year it was Ben Meyers. Hell, even in tri city he didn't lead the team. That's why nobody is high on him except for Leafs fans

If he works out great, has all the necessary tools become a well-rounded middle-six 45-to-55 point per season type of winger in the NHL. I have hopes he will be our version of Alex Tuch.

At least we didn’t take him 1st overall

Actually, you’re not. The Habs are 7th overall and god willing are going to miss out on a top 4 pick in a once in generational draft.

I mean, we're currently winning because Montembeault is playing out of his damn mind. Beats the Leafs with an AHL team because of Montembeault . We don't even have Caufield for the rest of the season. Should end up 3rd-5th if I had to guess.

Heh. I'm not sure what's the correlation between Slaf and Knies, but I'm fairly certain that Yakupov and Stefan had better rookie seasons than Jack Hughes and Thornton. Way too early to judge.

You guys get further away from Bedard and we got the loser point over TBL.
