-More of a general comment than on the trade - I like how you worked around the 3 team trade limitation CF has, this flows in a sensible way to me and makes it easy to see the moving parts. Detroit should 100% be weaponizing their cap space this deadline - hell, any team, even contenders, should be open to doing that if they have it available. I think a 3rd is fair value on that retention, regardless of where Kane goes (I think this is fair value for him, fwiw.)
-The Isles have a handful of Erne-types already on the team (Hudson Fasching, Andy Andreoff, & Cole Bardreau) so I don't really see a big need for them to move an asset to acquire another. Wilde is incredibly available if you want to throw a lottery ticket pick to the Island, though - 5th/6th rounder should get it done.
-Feels like a heavy ask for Suter, who's a fine-if-slightly-expensive 3C. Seattle already has good depth at C (Beniers - Wennberg - Gourde - Geekie with McCann, Schwartz, & Donato on the NHL roster to fill in if need be and Shane Wright a phone call away if need be) so I don't see them really needing to give up a premium asset for another depth C.
-Too spicy for Bert, even with the retention. I could see a '23 1st coming back but Knies is the Leafs' #1 prospect at this point - with the contracts they have on the book, his ELC is worth more than its weight in gold. I can't see them mortgaging that much future for 20ish games of a guy who's been dealing with a ton of injury issues this year.
-Pysyk might not even play this year, you're not getting an asset back for him.
-Probably the right value for Hagg, who knows who takes a swing.
