Wishful thinking, trades with that much retention for that long don't happen often, I mean, ever. Unless it's the Leafs retaining on Phil Kessel, lol. Leafs finally have good management and some were calling for them to be fired. Haha.

PHI says no.

Kerfoot as an expiring UFA has really no value to PHI
PHI isnt retaining for 3 years
Robertson has very little value now (not producing on an offensive team, injuries and size)

so its Hirvonen and a 1st and 2nd TWO drafts away?

Not enough, make it Hirvonen and 1st and 3rd in 2023 and you'll probably still be adding

Hirvonen is a maybe, Koneckny is a 25 yr old, signed longish term cheap, producing on a team that cant score, and you want 50% retention for 3 yrs? Hirvonen and 3 1sts is more likely than what you have above

The only way I see a Konecky trade happening is with retention as you suggest. Otherwise the Leafs really can't keep the team together next year.

3 1sts Good joke, Love the Leafs Tax seen people trade way less for him & have 0 backlash cause it’s from a different team. Konecny at max for 3 years of retention is 2 firsts & a good prospect. Say Topi,Roni,Kressler & a 2024 1st + 2024 2nd is reasonable (Topi is worth a 1st & if not him & Roni definitely are)

I agree that the trade won’t happen. But Robertson certainly has value. He was producing decently for only getting 10 mins of ice a night

Philly says no. ‘23 first and Knies is a good place to start even without retention.

You aren’t getting one of them let alone both, Fletcher isn’t intelligent enough of a GM to do that

Haha, tough to argue that! Fletcher is an idiot. That being said he isn’t shopping Konecny who will probably be wearing a ‘C’ next season.

How about Hayes 50% or Konecny at only 25%

Hayes could definitely be had, and I’d imagine they’d retain. What’s the offer?
