Description

This obviously only works if Hughes or Hischier can play wing. I don't follow the team, is that possible? Would this even be something the Devils would look at if either could play wing?

What would the trade look like?

Horvat playing on Jack's wing while taking his faceoffs has logic to it.

But Fitz won't pay the cost it'll take the get Horvat as a rental, nor will he sign him for the 7-8m he'll be looking for as an extension IMO.

Why move Hughes to the wing? He is doing very very well on both sides of the ice

Edit: Horvat has never played wing so that would be an adjustment for him

If I were Devils GM, I’d kick the tires on Horvat. But wouldn’t be before deadline. More likely a summer addition if anything.

Horvat could take the role that Haula, Sharangovich have often played on Hughes line. A winger who takes faceoffs and plays in middle in d-zone.

What does he expect in salary?
