LA says no thanks, call back when you're ready to be realistic about what a rental is worth.

*Van calls back with the same offer*

it's high but also realistic

"Flames get: F Tyler Toffoli
Canadiens get: F Tyler Pitlick, F Emil Heineman, 2022 first-round pick (protected), 2024 fifth-round pick"

Bo > Toffoli by a lot

You don't seem to get the difference between a player with term and a rental.

Your team traded an empty contract for Huberdeau and now your team has 8 partial or full no trade clauses.

Looks like it's getting you 21 losses in 40 games.

You don't seem to know the difference between good players and systems. So we'll call it a split then?

PS: I should have used Copp as a comparable not Toffoli.

2022 1st round pick
2022 2nd round pick
2023 5th round pick (NYR)

Horvat dwarfs Copp

Back to the last Bo to LA proposal(s): Horvat doesn't fit a need for the Kings, especially if they give up Walker ... the Kings are looking for a defenceman, not looking to trade one for a center. Not denying Bo will get a king's ransom from SOMEONE at the deadline, but this doesn't fit a need.

Like a post or two before me said, Bo is playing specular right now and VAN will no doubt get a large return for him but it wont be from the Kings. Kings are just way to stacked with current NHL centers and guys coming up for them to throw in a guy like Bo into the mix even if it just for one season. Kings are looking to beef up the back end or as a second option (which is very unlikely) a goaltender, the last thing on their list of things to do is as any type of forward. I hope Bo goes somewhere and gets far away from Miller cause that guy is poison for any team in the league.
