Portillo is definitely an interesting G prospect, and you could argue he is enough for Domi, but I just don't see CHI doing that.

... I’d want a deal more similar to the burns trade tbh.
That was certainly a great move by Waddell.
It made them a great team.

LOL, excellent!
I do not see Rasmus Dahlin either.
Buffalo is on the verge of being great.
Just as Colorado has Makar and MacKinnon, Buffalo has Dahlin and Thompson.
Luukkonen may have given up 5 goals yesterday, 4 of them were nearly unstoppable.
They have some really fantastic wins already this year and a 8-1 in their last 9 games including wins over the Knights, Aves, Bruins, Caps and Wild.

you're a joke.

I don’t trust Karlsson to stay healthy.

I’d argue he isn’t the best d man in hockey, but that’s besides the point. Calling Bryson a “midget d” is disrespectful to his game. Also ur not getting a first in the 2023 draft for Karlsson, because like it or not his contract is still terrible even with retention. Nobody wants to risk getting stuck with Karlsson if he regresses. No one.

Not all-around D. The best offensive d-man.

And you're wrong about him not being valuable with retention. Having EK65 at 7.5 mil would be legitimately unfair. Name anyone putting up the numbers he's putting up with a 7.5 cap hit or less. MacKinnon maybe? If you're getting EK at 7.5 you're giving up a massive return.

It’s about age and durability. Karlsson will fetch closer to a Brent Burna level return than a DeBrincat one.

Burns was at a .66 Points per game at 36 years old when he was traded. Karl is on a 1.32 point per game at 32 years old. His contract ends when he's 36-37.

It's nothing alike. Maybe if there's no retention, but with 4 million, the buyer is coming out WAY on top there.

Burns can play in all 3 zones tho. Putting up that kind of PPG production is impressive, but it’s not telling u the whole story. He’s very good don’t get me wrong tho. The asking price is just way too high
