Boeser isn't worth his 6.6M pricetag I think that cap could be spent more wisely.

IMO the Devils are much better to keep those assets and spend 6.65m on a better player than Boesner.

Agree with you. IMO these trades for high priced "aging" players isn't the way to go to build a team. Signing your own RFAs to long term deals ...if they are worth their contracts is the best way to build a team. Then if can draft well, you have cheap ELCs to make the team, and those low cost players are needed to fill the roster. Then you have cap for wise UFA signings.
I like the route the Devils, Sabres and Wings are taking....could be leaders in the East very soon.

Canucks would absolutely accept this. But I see Boeser going to a team with cap space this summer that still has a few years of building to do. Unless he goes off in the second half of the year he will probably be fairly cheap (2nd or 3rd round pick range) this offseason.

I think Anaheim is the perfect fit if that is the price range. They've got extra picks, cap space, and a few years of rebuilding left. Boeser would be a low risk high reward acquisition for them.
