Massive overpay for tippet. Also San Jose isn’t bringing them up at all this year, I think that’s pretty clear

Why does Tippet need a change of scenery? He’s been doing great in Philly. Or do you just mean the SJ players?

Let them develop more in the AHL. No rush brining up prospects to the NHL when they can't dominate the AHL.

I guess I just disagree. The Hawks have rushed too many prospects to the NHL recently and adversely affected their development. Boqvist Dach are key examples. Then they draft Reichel. Post draft, 1 more year DEL. Then 1.5 seasons over a ppg in the AHL. Finally a good development track. Now that he's had a season and a half of AHL dominance...ok come to the NHL.

I'd keep them in the AHL. Let them develop smoothly and bring them up next year when we might be looking decent.

Couldn’t be more spot on with that comment. Eklund Gushin Robins Bordeleau all 4 AHL rookies and are still very much developing and while they look good they still need a little maturing.
