Description

Jets need another LHD like they need a hole in the head but as reclamation project Provy with Bones as the D whisperer behind JMo and ahead of Dillon/Samberg could work out really well for us. We’d need to shed Pionk and his contract to have cap to add Provy, which also opens a spot for Heinola as he’s shown he’s ready.

In addition to Pionk we then also need to move out a LHD and I picked Stan because I think Flyers fans would love the big man and I want to keep Samberg.

But Pionk + Stanley for Provy wasn’t spicy enough so I added the Jets 1st this year and 2nd next year and Cutter from the Flyers. I like adding Cutter to Chaz and Rutger for the next core and we give up our 1st this year and our 2nd next year to get a guy drafted in the high teens last year.

I don't see the Flyers having any interest in moving Gauthier and there's just way too many moving pieces to make a lateral defensive move and lose an RHD.

Maybe if the Jets weren't playing well, but there's just no reason to upset the apple cart.

But, it was a little different anyways.

I didn’t look to see how high they picked him. I had him ranked in the teens but he’s probably a nonstarter…. Lol.

I like Winnipeg for Provy just have no idea what the return would be outside a ‘23 first. Is a prospect like McGroarty untouchable? Elias Salomonsson? Do they need to dump some cash to make this work?
