Compher isn't worth that. He's not a true 2nd line centre. Pass.

the leafs are not taking myers ever. he is an anchor, if you want to move him you will need to throw some picks in too, and retain.

San Jose doesn’t consider that to be close. If Timo is traded it’s for futures not another bad contract, no prospect and no 1st.

Idk that the Sabres would like that Miller contract for that long….
I do think that deal is a “maybe” though

I know I do not speak for any other Sabre fans, but that Miller trade is certainly intriguing.
Miller has certainly performed very well for the Canucks to earn his $8,000,000 salary.
Adding Poolman and a first seems almost too good actually.
With the retention and moving Casey's salary at least for this and next year the actual increase in the cap is only $5,125,000 which is certainly manageable.

What makes this particularly appealing to me is during the 2018-19 TDL Botterill and Brisebois were discussing Ristolainen.
At that time I thought Miller and first would have been a fair exchange for Rasmus.
Now Buffalo gets a first, Poolman and Miller for Casey and a very late second.

$8,000,000 for a third line center (yes he would most likely play behind Cozens) would probably break the budget.
On the other hand, it would be very appealing to have Miller and Olofsson on the same line.

The Sabres would need to consider all angles on this deal.
If accepted or rejected either one may be the correct decision.
Bottom line considering Miller would be 37 at the end of the deal, it looks like the pass is the correct path to follow.

Miller with Olofsson would be as much of a trainwreck as Mitts with him. He's a lot like Olofsson in his willingness to backcheck and play in his own zone. When he wants to he's decent at it, but it seems lately he doesn't care to play all 200 feet of the ice.

OEL is one of the worst in the league plus he cant play anymore. That package is not enough to dump his contract let alone get meier. Arizona really fleeced Vancouver.
