Very little incentive for the Caps to take that deal. The only halfway logical reason to do it is if there's another deal to bring in Erik Karlsson, but even then I don't think it's something the Caps would entertain.

What the hell is that Caps trade? I get that us Caps fans like to talk **** about Carly but the guy is still one of the top offensive defenseman in the league, AND he's right handed which adds to his value. That Tanev+2nd package gets you Matt Irwin and maybe a signed Ovechkin stick.
