Zucker most likely resigns. He's been fantastic this year

I wouldnt hate that, under 4 million. Can still sign him even if we trade him. Wouldnt hate a big power guy like Greenway in the bottom 6.

Chicago won't have the retention slots for Doumlin to get flipped, nor do trades work that way in terms of equating value to a cap dump with the intent of the team acquiring extracting value on that player. The onus is not on Chicago to get value from a cap dump, and therefore Pit can not place value on their cap dump as part of the trade...it simply will be viewed as dumping cap with negative value.

Zucker isn't the guy to trade though and he's been one of our best players this year. We're gonna need him if we go to the playoffs.

I don’t think Domi solves any of our bottom 6 issues if I’m being really honest. With the way Sully uses our bottom 6 Domi doesn’t fit that. At all. He overuses them for defence. We need a defensive forward that can really carry the puck I think for the 3rd line.

I doubt Guerin trades to get Zucker back since he was the one that traded Zucker to Pittsburgh in the first place. Add in his injury prone nature and our very likely lack of desire to re-sign a 30+ LW, it makes no sense.
