Additional Details:
Judge your own additions to the trade on either side but this seems like a good fit to me for both sides. Florida has the space to resign Gavrikov next season and needs a dman and Columbus needs centers and Bennett is only 26

Trade makes sense for both teams. Personally I think Bennett hold a little more value than Gavy so id say CBJ would have to throw in like a third of fourth as well to make this happen. But I believe its going to depend on what CBJ is looking for cause other teams will offer more assets and younger assets to get Gavy.

Bennett has 2 more seasons left, He's worth a lot more than a pending UFA in Gavrikov. CBJ would need to add a little more than just Gavrikov.

On the surface yes, but the Jackets draft position makes it a bit early to make a move for a significant center right now. Between Jenner, Johnson, Sillinger, Voronkov, Kuraly and their 1st this draft they have quite a bit of coverage for centers next season. If they don't end up drafting one then maybe it opens up space to acquire a top 6C, but acquiring one before they know where their pick lands wouldn't be a wise choice.

I woild make this trade and then see what happens in the draft. We could then either trade Roslovic or shift him or Jenner to wing.

If they happened to get Bedard they could end up with Gaudreau, Laine, Bedard, Johnson, Marchenko, Voracek, Jenner, Chinakhov, Sillinger, Bennett, Roslovic, Bemstrom and Texier under contract for next season. Having 13 guys that probably need top 9 icetime as well as Kuraly, Robinson, Danforth and Foudy is a rough spot to be in. Waiting until the draft lottery is complete to set plans for next year is really the smart thing for Jarmo to do.

I think I would rather have Bennett than Reinhart since Bennett has 2 years left and Reinhart has been mostly playing wing in Florida.
I would trade Boquist for Bennett if Florida is interested.

Unless he’s coming with an extension less than bennetts cap I struggle to see the net positive for the panthers, they could easily be with bennet and gav walks

Bennett as a trade asset is worh more than a ufa rental risk
