Health can’t come fast enough. The NHL is a business and the Avs are on the bubble of the playoffs. You really think an owner looking at their team that just won the SC and now are on the bubble of the playoffs won’t want his team to make a move to make the playoffs? Is it going to be Horvat? Idk but I doubt they don’t give up assets and just wait until they get healthy.

And those aren’t even high value assets they’re giving up. This trade won’t get you Horvat. At least I hope it won’t since it’s a pretty lacklustre return.

They aren’t reckless with assets, they can improve without moving the 2023 to Vancouver or any other team for a rental

If you look at how they acquire players they don’t panic trade or get into bidding wars or pay high prices for rentals
