  1. Steel, Sam [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Wild is so tight with their Cap situation. Unless Steel takes a big discount.
MIN
  1. 2023 4th round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
If Horvat leaves, Canucks center core is really weak. Steel is still young and could be a decent 35+point guy.

Not gonna project what you would get for them in trades? Gotta think it affects the lineup

So Minnesota’s current center on the top line for a 4th… His points are a product of Kaprizov and Zuccarello and I don’t think he’s worth $3.25M, but if that’s what he wants then I’d trade him away.

Canucks getting his RFA rights. 30-40 point guys usually get around 2.5-4.0 million.

The guy struggled to break 20 points before this year. Now he’s next to a top 5 winger. I’d be wary of expectations that exceed 25 points. If you pay him $4M, there will be instant regret.

I trust your words because I don’t even watch the Wild play🤣 But I could see something like this happening. Canucks doesn’t want to rebuild, but they like to add more young guys who still has more to give. Center depth is awful if Horvat leaves.
