I see the vision, but FLA needs more help on the left side, and I doubt they move Bennett to do that

The Wild don't have the cap space to carry Bennett's contract into next season.

I think they can and should trade Greenway. He has value, but is often out of the lineup and plays soft. Duhaime can take his place at 1/3rd his contract next season making that semi GREEF line intact and adding someone to play with Boldy on the third line or finding a better C to play with Zuc and KK. Boldy and Addison will most likely take 2/3 year bridge deals so they get more money once the cap penalties come off in 2 years.

That’s why have made the Mittelstadt for Greenway trade recently. I’m thinking/hoping Mittelstadt would be a fit with Boldy, or maybe even Kaprizov in another year. And maybe if Greenway was closer to home, he wouldn’t play like a candybutt so often!

I actually think, given time, Duhaime would be a MUCH better fit with Ek and Foligno!

As much as I know Guerin wants character guys like Greenway on the team, I agree Jordan is the kind of player that would benefit from being closer to home. Mittelstadt maybe the same, after not living up to his stock in Buffalo so far.

Totally agree and I think Zucc signs for half what he makes next offseason to prolong his career and play with his jelly/jam partner to be in a better spot to make the team better.

Greenway isn’t a character guy

Guess it depends on your definition - he's a character guy in that he is a character. Guerin has been on record with that description in particular. *shrug*
