It would certainly be funny if the Habs ended up with both Dach and Boqvist, after the Hawks so adamantly refused to include Dach for Jones with Columbus. As for value of Boqvist, I'm honestly not sure. He's a small, offensively-gifted, extremely creative RHD, but he's made of glass. I'd say his value is a late first and a B prospect at this point, but I could totally see arguments for either more or less. It's also hard to judge because Columbus has so many RHD coming up and only so many spots for them, so his value may just feel low to me as a Columbus fan who knows that he's currently occupying Jiricek's roster spot next season.

Really the only players of interest on that list are Bouchard (which the oilers arent trading) and Hart.

Merkley is a definite no he is a locker room cancer

Boeser is nearly ppg on a tragic Canucks team. And they Pulji is a low risk, high reward type of player. If he sucks, he goes to Europe. If hes good, we got a great player for pennies on the dollar and could either flip him or sign him long term if hes really good

Looks like wingers are a thing the Jackets could use. I can see the Habs offer up like Mysak or Heineman and their 2nd round pick this year for him.

The Jackets actually have a glut of wings. We need Centers and shutdown defensemen. How about Boquist for "Wifi" ?

I think the more pertanet question is 'Why is Montreal buying?"

Those would probably be the two players the Jackets would be interested in. Otherwise they would probably want at least a late 1st round pick for Boquist.

We've got too many as is, so, no, not really. Kind of wondering where this perception comes from.

Gaudreau, Laine, Marchenko, Chinakhov, Bemstrom, Jenner, Texier and Johnson all end up looking like wingers if they get a really solid center in this draft.
