Kerfoot in this scenario is for cap purposes. Flipped to another team for another pick

No need to send Kerfoot back; he’s a valuable piece to have come playoffs. Just don’t see Knies playing a role this year, maybe next 🤞

This just isn't a good fit. Toronto's one position that they are good at is C... so why are we paying for a rental C?

Nah they need a depth centre and winger. When you have a top guy like Matthews or jt out. You need a centre who you gonna put nylander? Jarnkork? Kerfoot? If that star centre is out long term that be bad. Leafs lack centers

But do they need a centre more than they need a winger/Defense?
Using your logic, what is Marner or Nylander's out? What do we do then? What if Jarnkrok/Bunting is out? Then that 2LW slot is open

Point is, the Leafs' strongest position is at centre and they've got guys who are playing wing that can easily fill out that centre role if needed (Kerfoot/Jarnkrok/Engvall/Holmberg). I feel that the prospect the Leafs 1rst could be a serious value/good player

While I don't think that guys response was correct, having a centre is always good. You literally can't have too much center depth. Horvat would make the 3rd line much more scary offensively. Personally I'd rather see ROR because hes still elite defensively and would still add offence to the bottom 6. And in a pinch can move up easily.

I like ROR bc he is cheap and allows JT to move to wing if Jarnkrok starts to struggle and isn't going to cost our farm club like Horvat will. I am just saying, I would prefer to spread the love when it comes to how strong our team is. Also, Minten already looked NHL ready when I saw him play in PS

I certainly wouldn't move Minten. I also wouldn't slide JT to the wing unless it's late in the game and we need a goal. Having ROR on the 3rd line would be a matchup nightmare

Prefer you kept Kerfoot; he’s very valuable imo - hands of stone but great on pk and defensively.
You should be able to fit him (cap wise) by running a 21 man roster which should be no big deal. Only Timmins is at risk of waiver wire - everyone else can be sent down until playoffs

Vancouver is looking for C and RD help, Which of none you provide. They don't need more wingers. They need 3C help and young RD help.
