Leafs keep the better forward Kerfoot and Engvall
Leafs keep the superior Holl at RHD and the picks
Horvat is traded for a better package by the Canucks

Bo Horvat as a rental, Will cost more than that garbage.

Gavrikov should get a 1st and 3rd round pick, Not Holl a 2024 2nd and 2025 4th round pick

Give Canucks Engvall, Niemela, and a 2023 first and you got a deal.

Why will Gavrikov get a 1st and a 3rd? He has terrible underlying numbers and poor results. He's all reputation and it's not deserved. Looked good for a while in the Torts system when Jones and Werensky got all the hard minutes and has been terrible since.

I don't know why they would trade Engvall. Kerfoot maybe for cap reasons but not Engvall.

You kind of answered your own question. If you put Gavrikov in a system that isn't total crap then he is a good defenseman.

Trust me, At the trade deadline Gavrikov will get a 1st rounder. He's no worse than Edmunson and he'll probably get one as well.

Because we're not offering him for anything less.

Put a good defenceman in any system and they do better then their teammates. Gavrikov doesn't.

Both are terrible and whoever pays that for them will look bad.

Rip we get it you don’t like gavrikov. Reported market value is a first. You can say he’s not worth that but ffs every post you go to literal war. It’s his value. Chariot and savard and foligno and so many other not worthy players have gotten it. It’s not that difficult. They all fit the mold. Just cuz you want him cheap don’t mean you get him.

It’s okay you don’t like him but that doesn’t mean NHL GMs dont

Reinforcements from the top ropes. At least I’m

It’s funny cause Gavrikov is the type of player who thrives in the playoffs. If the leafs had more guys like him they wouldn’t get bounced in the first round every year.

I agree to disagree. I’m not gonna argue with someone set in their ways on this site. I will make this bet.
If gavrikov doesn’t get a first I will delete this page and never post again. (Unless he resigns, the only condition).

You're right. Dubas only spends first round picks to acquire elite players such as Nick Foligno, and to dump bad contracts

Faligno got hurt, it was very unlucky and Marleau was Lou's fault. And really don't pretend that you thought Benning was a good GM as recently as 3 years ago.

Benning was an NHL GM for 8 seasons (7 Years, 6 Months, 14 Days), we wanted him out after like 2, people saw things like how he handled the development of virtanen and McCann and wanted him gone,

Literally nobody is saying Benning was a good GM.
