You won't get Kaapo Kakko, how about a bag of pucks? Maybe a pair of skates ⛸️ but that as far as Drury will stretch it

I don’t think Boston would move Zacha in that type of deal. I also don’t think we necessarily need him unless Barbashev were moved.

Also, it’s hard to tell whether or not it would be more beneficial for us to take a chance on a very underperforming highly touted guy like Kakko/Lafreniere or if we’d be best off just adding a late 1st instead of someone like that. I don’t really necessarily see Kakko playing Berube style hockey and I don’t necessarily see him fitting in a top6.

2 months ago I would’ve thought you were crazy on the Mikkola for a 2nd portion. Still pretty optimistic. But he’s been playing really well as of late in high minute and leverage roles. Will be interesting to see what he brings back or signs for.

Elliot has been very good for TB he plays mostly 2nd nights of back to backs and is 8-3 TB has played God Awful in front of him on multiple occasions and He's bailed them out several times. Numbers for a backup goalie can be very deceiving.

Apologies. I forgot that Kakko's 76 points in 3.5 years in the NHL is worth way more than someone who put up 82 points last year.
