Whats the biggest difference between 2020-21 Comtois and the last two seasons? I think he's a good enough player I think the Flames have too many like him already.

I'm just going to believe that you weren't paying attention to the lines when you put this together.

There's no reason to move on from Comtois, we have a new coach next season, let's see if that kick starts him. If after that he still can't get it going then we can change of scenery move him.

Other two trades look fine.

He’s not allowed to play anymore.

He's an RFA what do you think he will ask for $ wise? We surely can't pay him more than what he's already making with this production

If all that we're offered for Max Comtois is a future third, and that's with retention, we'll keep him. @GiggyWithGibby is, as usual, on point and succinct.

I know some Sabres fans who’d be interested in that Comtois deal- we could use his size

Weird that he’s seemed to regress though

Right NOW, u could likely still get something decent for Comtois though- maybe even a 2nd
But if u wait till next year & another coach still can’t get him going, then you’ll really be “selling low” if u try to move him at that point

It’s a risk

I think that of we were offered the Buffalo 2023 second, we'd have to consider it. If I were offered the Philadelphia 2023 second, I'd take it.

Idk what a trade would look like in real life,
but it seems like it’s gotten to the point where u guys should at least listen to offers
What’s his story been?

A variety of debilitating injuries, coupled with a lack of confidence from the head coach. If that's the coach's fault, then we should take the risk of giving him another season. If the coach doesn't think that Comtois is investing the requisite effort, then we should trade him sooner rather than later. Of course, we on CapFriendly aren't really privy to the inside stories on these issues (including the severity of the hand and lower-body injuries that have nagged him over the past two years).
