It would make sense for ARI if :
They trade Chychrun for a huge return (replace Chychrun with Girard)
COL send their 2023 1st round pick, no interest in the 2024 1st

It's pretty reasonable for the Avs though it will still be tight with the cap next year. Not sure ARI would go for it though but a decent effort. I'd prefer it not to be Maltsev but I wouldn't cry about it either.

No to Ghost. The Avs do not need that type of defenseman. Schwartz would be cool, but I don't think it's realistic tbh.
