Why does BUF do this? okay they have a good team and tons of cap space, yes. But why should NJD benefit from that and not BUF?
They could just say no, and this whole plan of yours fail.

Trade values aside... Where does it fail? This ACGM team has over 5m in cap space.

Casey is the only RHD that would be worth more than Thompson

They do something without benefiting themselves. Where does Johnsson play? yeah that is right we wouldn't even dress on BUF team.
They take on the cap, helping NJD but they don't benefit from it, that is the issue I have. Why would they do that?
You need to dump salary you pay, and for that I would say I 2nd round pick. Or something they need like defense men.

I doubt the Jets move their 23 first for a rental. Severson would be nice, but not at that price.

Not disputing that Buffalo wouldn't take him for nothing, just your "this whole plan of yours fail" claim... Clearly the point of this ACGM is not AJ's value.

Walsh is better than Thompson imo. Thompson may be more ready (debatable) but he has little to no upside.

Sure, fine it is not. But don't see WPG trading for Severson either. Still not a complete failure, I agree. I overreacted.

I disagree, but I wouldn't lose any sleep at night if either of them were lost, they're pretty comparable depending on need.

Anyone ready to pencil in Luke Hughes on the second line should have to write their names on a list of people not allowed to complain his defense is brutal still and he has to grow into it...

If the Jets knew they could sign Severson they should do that, would try to send a different prospect then Zhilkin though and would see if NJ would take back one of the Jets dmen not named Morrissey or Dillon.
