Parayko's Trade Value

Created by: A_K

Initial Creation Date: Jun. 6, 2017

Description
Bored and looking at the trade value of Parayko. I don't see the Blues trading him. The only reason to move him would be to get a proven/potential 1C. I might have my homer goggles on... think any of these are fair?

Probably an overpay on your part to the majority of those teams especially NJD, WSH, BUF, and MTL.

The MTL trade is pretty even in value, might be shifted more towards the MTL side.
I'd wonder if EDM would that. Anyone can play on a line w/ McDavid and be instantly better. If they were to sign Jordan Weal, or anyone like him, I would do that if I were EDM.

The NJD deal is probably the most even, IMO

as an Oilers fan im on the fence on this. I love Drai, and having a one-two punch down the middle of Connor and Drai would be awesome. But Parayko is a great young RHD, and it would give Edmonton a top D core.

NJ is a unfair deal. Maybe Parayko for the 1st overall pick is a more fair deal as Zacha has yet to prove himself (although he is only 20). I would love Nolan Patrick in a Blues uniform for many years, but i still have a hard time trading a number 1 d-man for a draft pick who may or may not be an elite center in the NHL (though i think Patrick could be). I'd even like McLeod better than Zacha.
