This is arguably one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seen.

Please explain that deal and dumping Robertson for a 5th Lmao?

Also a massive overpayment for Edmunson.

This is awful man.

Nicholas Robertson wasn't on our wish list when we got up this morning, but at that price, who can say No? And Mete could stay in Toronto until we found out if anyone claimed him on waivers.

Brodie is far better on his off side than Edmundson, who might be worth a first to someone but shouldn't be that valuable to Toronto. I know that a little insurance is always a good thing to have, but Toronto is statistically tied with 8 teams for second through ninth in goals against at the halfway point of the season. Edmundson is unlikely to improve that very much, and you can probably get the same effect at a far lower cost. And I say this despite the fact that every time I criticize a trade involving a Montreal player, I get accused of having an anti-Canadien bias.

If all you get for ZAR, who is second on the team to John Tavares in face-off win percentage, is a fifth-round draft pick, I think that you're wasting your time; at his price, he's cheaper to keep.

You have an anti-Canadiens bias

(but I still like you)

This is what trolls point to when they say "some leaf fans are reasonable unlike the rest of you Homer's!" Of course this isn't a leaf fan. It's a Habs fan posting a terrible trade that doesn't make any sense.
