You need at least $5,000,000 in cap space, just to cover the performance bonuses needed to be paid out to both Bergeron and Krejci which is about $4,500,000.

Too much for Swayman. You bought out the wrong d-man in Forbort. Reilly is much more likely to be bought out.

Not per year, but he’ll definitely get a $9M contract in UFA. He’s a $3M/year player likely getting 3-4 years of term.

Yours is very poor assumption of what clifton will get. Good d men get paid.

Barring drastic changes, this will very likely be his last year in boston as his play has priced himself out of the market.
