These changes are not enough and not enough of an upgrade. Backup goaltending, offensive depth and defence have not been improved

Nop Savard vaut un choix de première ronde et un choix de deuxième ronde. Les sénateurs doivent donner un choix de deuxième ronde juste pour se débarrasser de Zaitsev.

I'm afraid a 2nd is not enough to absorb Zaitsev contract for this year and next year, as well as getting Savard. Montreal would pass.

It will cost more than a 2nd alone tp dump zaitsev and thats before you get to savard

Both teams don't do that

Montreal would want to get futures for Savard (if they trade him but IMO they should keep him as you need vets)

Savard doesn't fix the Sens defensive issues at all, no need to invest cap in him

Start by changing the whole management and coaching staff and go from there (will happen after team gets sold)
