NSH doesn’t have the cap space to re-sign Horvat— and they’re not really in a position to do a move like this anyway.

its simply a reaction to their inquiring, which was confirmed by some reputable insiders. I agree in absolutely every way that a horvat trade to nashville makes no sense, but it's hard to say "we don't want him" if the management is phoning. Hard to blame the OP for exploring the idea even though the chances of it really happen are almost negative.

Almost every team has phoned in on Horvat, but for some teams its not because they're interested. It's to get a feeling of the market. Teams call on players they have no interest in all the time, it's to see where the price ranges are.

Poile isn't known to make massive TDL splashes, and he definitely won't be moving any of our top assets for a rental we can't afford to keep.
