Devils decline. However, Kuzmenko is a very interesting player and we’d be interested. Also, the Devils aren’t necessarily ready to part with high draft picks, especially a 2023 First Round Pick.

Also, why would the Lightning trade away Sergachev, one of their best defensemen for J.T Miller.

Detroit isn't giving up that much for Horvat and Demko's numbers this season are on par with Ned's.

Is this your way of telling Detroit fans you're sick of seeing low-ball offers for Horvat?

Yikes. Talk about unrealistic expectations. No team is giving up even half that for those two players. If this is what you are expecting you're going to be sorely disappointed.

It has to a a trolling joke. Canucks fans probably tired of seeing lowball offers for, well, everyone they are proposing to trade here. Thing is, the lowball offers the Canucks fans are upset about aren't always terribly unrealistic. Nobody wants Myers, let alone giving up assets to get him. Horvat offers are a over the place because he is a rental; the teams that could use him either don't have the cap room without using some cap gymnastics or don't have desirable assets to part with. The teams who have cap room and/or expendable good assets don't have a need for Horvat right now and would be better served waiting for UFA. Horvat may actually bring in less than Giroux did last year.

The Wings trade has got to be the worst here, which is funny because most Horvat proposals I've seen on CF are reasonable, or reasonable with the acknowledgement that the proposed trade wouldn't benefit the Canucks enough to meet the Canucks current needs.

Demko is still a far more valuable asset than Nedjelkovic based on sample size

1st Demko is better than Ned, no argument, but we also have Husso so why pay for Demko when we do not need him?

The 1st round picks make this deal a no go, from the beginning. Then adding Cossa, Kasper and picks, jumps start Canucks rebuild and hurts Wings rebuild. This is not even close.

Would love Horvat but way to rich for Wings at this point of rebuild. Also no need for Demko, so this trade makes zero sense for Wings.

If it wasn’t made clear by the previous wings posters on this thread, Detroit is absolutely not making any deal like that. You’re barking up the wrong tree.

I agree with that but Ned is on his way out with the way Husso is playing and Hellberg backing him up. Plus Cossa is in the system.
