Let’s just take a look at the roster for two seconds here folks, as it seems like half this board seems to think that boston is the logical landing place - he just doesn’t fit.

Horvat is a center, and there is no room for a center on the boston roster - He’s not bumping bergeron anywhere, Krejci wasn’t brought back to be anything but a top six center. Does Bo Horvat, checking line center, sound good to anyone? Me neither. The third line has been absolutely rolling, so why disrupt with a major change involving a ton of assets, cap space, and moving a center out of position to wing (either horvat or coyle). No.

Shift Horvat to the wing? Where? Who’s moving to the fourth line? Taylor Hall? No.

It makes no sense to use all the teams assets, and cap to go after a guy that just can’t fit.

Agreed. Depth pieces should be what Boston adds going into the playoffs. No need to make any major changes that could potentially screw with the magic that this group has. Bring in well-respected vets who wouldn't mind coming in-and-out of the lineup regularly. That's what this club needs.
